Facilities time covers the costs of funding locally available nominated trades’ union/professional association representatives for schools and academies in South Gloucestershire who do not hold a paid union position.

- Local Unison representatives will attend job evaluation panels, ensuring that that the support staff posts for maintained schools are allocated the correct grade, to protect against an equal pay challenge

- Provide a local forum for consultation on policies and procedures and for discussion on South Gloucestershire issues. This is in conjunction with Integra Schools’ HR services for those schools who subscribe to HR.
Service Level Agreement (SLA) explanations
This service is by annual subscription at a fixed annual fee per school/academy.
The funding from schools and academies is allocated directly to the unions broadly proportionate to union membership.
No element of funding is retained by Integra Schools.
