Integra Catering services
Here in the catering services team our real specialism lies in schools and education contract catering, where we work with you to ensure we become your trusted food services partner. We have a wealth of experience working across primary, secondary and special schools and endeavour to build relationships with staff and pupils, as well as engaging with schools seeking to link catering to the school curriculum.
We are passionate about food quality and committed to delivering healthy, nutritious and well-balanced meals cooked from fresh ingredients every day. Our aim is to make all our meals something which pupils look forward to in their day, and strongly believe our service is integral to supporting their overall health and wellbeing.
We recognise the impact of nourishing food on pupils’ educational attainment, which is why we focus on serving healthy meals cooked from fresh ingredients. And we always work with you to develop a service that meets your individual needs, includes any special requirements and contributes to the curriculum.
Our core service includes:
- option of tuck service and a daily choice of three hot cooked lunch options, with new menus changed twice a year
- healthy and nutritional menus developed in collaboration with South Gloucestershire Council’s Public Health and Wellbeing Team, in compliance with National Nutritional Food Standards. Note – we do not offer drinking milk as part of our provision
- the provision and management of DBS checked and vetted, friendly, trained staff to deliver a high-quality service
- formal policies ensuring the safe and consistent delivery of services in accordance with all existing food hygiene legislation, as well as the maintenance of safe and hygienic premises, equipment and working practices
- regular performance monitoring with termly contract management meetings to review performance, menus, customer feedback and initiatives to increase take-up.
Our food options are modelled on pupil feedback, with the inclusion of foods likely to be on the high street, including hot and cold food, or ‘food to go’. It’s our way of making sure that older pupils are continuing to eat nutritious, tasty meals that are affordable and comply with school food standards.
